  • BAPTISM
    The Baptism is the treaty that the worshipper makes with God, in front of the Church, to be in the service of God, to obey and honor him every day of his life. A moment of joy.

    In the chalice the minister puts the wine that becomes the Christ’s blood. The wine found a role in the Jesus’ speech, when he talks about his reign and his sacrifice to seal the new and everlasting alliance.

    It is a liturgical object used in the catholic Church and in other Christian denominations, to preserve the consecrated hosts after the Eucaristic Celebration.

  • HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFIRMATION
    For the Christians the Eucharist is the sacrament instituted by Jesus during the Last Supper on the eve of his passion and death. Jesus, during the Last Supper, shared the bread and the wine to his disciples as his body and his blood. He offered them as a sacrifice for the human deliverance and designated to the disciples to do the same in his remembrance. The holy communion is the moment in which the children, but also the adults, approach for the first time to the Eucharist. The confirmation is the sacrament which seals and strenghtens our faith in Jesus Christ, ex pressing the Holy Spirit’s descent through the imposition of the hands of the apostles in the primordial Church and today of the bishop.

    The altar server is who helps the priest during the liturgical celebrations. Until the Second Vatican Council, who gave this service was called “altar boy”. The term has been replaced from “altar server”, which better expresses the meaning.

On the occasionof Eva’s creation, God observed: “It is not good that the being i alone; I will create a help for it” (Genesis 2:18). The Eucharist is the sacrifical action, during which the bishop offers the bread and the wine to God. They, thanks to the Holy Ghost, actually become the Body and the Blood of Christ.
