The woven, after many years of accurate researches, is of high quality and it is resistant to the atmospheric agents. The nautical polyester is a knitted fabric and for this reason is resistant and it is recommended for the external use, because it is waterproof and it does not make the flag heavy.
The flag is digitally printed and it creates an effect which reflects the frontal image on the reverse side.
The package has a double neckline, a tape and a cable for an easy assembly.
Since the 16 of May 1995 the National and civil flag of Belarus consists of two horizontal red and green stripes. The red one is double of the green one. On the left side there is a vertical traditional decoration.
The colours are the same which was used when Belarus was a soviet republic, while the red and the white of the decoration are the typical colours of the Country.
In 1991 Belarus achieved the independence from URSS. The flag was similar to that of URSS. It was modified in 1951 and it had a star, a hammer and a sickle.
After the independence from URSS in 1991, Belarus adopted a flag with three equal horizontal stripes: white-red-white. In 1995 the drawing was rejected. The current flag represents the relationship with Russia.
