The woven, after many years of accurate researches, is of high quality and it is resistant to the atmospheric agents. The nautical polyester is a knitted fabric and for this reason is resistant and it is recommended for the external use, because it is waterproof and it does not make the flag heavy.
The flag is digitally printed and it creates an effect which reflects the frontal image on the reverse side.
The package has a double neckline, a tape and a cable for an easy assembly.
Since the 8th of May 1990 the National and civil flag is a three-coloured flag with horizontal stripes of the same size: blue, black and white.
After the Second World War, Estonia became a Republic inside of URSS. It is independent since 1991.
The students adopted it for the first time in 1881, during the uprinsing against the zarist forces.
In 1990 it was adopted again as the National flag, before the independence. The colors represent the Estonia’s history, the habits and the landscape. The blue color symbolizes the loyalty, the sky, the sea and the lake. The black represents the past suffering of people, the land and the traditional black coat of the farmers. The white refers to goodness and to the fight for freedom. It is also the color of the birch’s bark and of the snow. The coat of arms was the emblem of a danish king in the XIII century.
